Senior Adults

Rockdale has a very active group of senior adults! A monthly meeting called “Happy Hearts” is held each month (the third Thursday) at the church with guest speakers, musicians, and other entertainment. A great meal is served and a great time of fellowship follows.

Our Senior adult choir, the “Joyful Senior Saints” rehearse each Wednesday morning, and sing in our worship services at least once a month. They travel and sing several times each year.

Our seniors take part in senior adult conferences across the southeast every year at places such at Myrtle Beach, Jekyll Island, Gatlinburg, and more!

Some Seniors are involved with our Family Ministry as “Reading Buddies” at a local elementary school. These “missionaries” serve by spending part of their time reading and loving on students at the school.
